What is RivaService?

How long does it take to setup my RivaService Account?
You can sign-up and start using your RivaService Account immediately. There is no waiting or confirmation. It may take sometime (few days to couple of weeks) for your data to be full imported, tested and your entire team to be adequately trained on the field service software to use it in production. Be assured, we will be helping you in this entire process.

No, you do not need any special hardware or software. You can use RivaService on your PC by using any Browser (IE 7+, FireFox 3+, Chrome, Safari) and Technician Mobile Field Service module can be accessed by using Windows Mobile 6+ on Internet Explorer.

We need to use the software on our own servers, is it possible?
RivaService is available only in On-Demand model. It allows us to serve you better at the cheapest possible cost in this model. You can access RivaService without any issues from anywhere you have an Internet connection

Are there any IT requirements or downloads required to use my RivaService account?
Nothing special. All you require is a PC with a Internet connection and any Mobile supporting Windows Mobile 6+ with a Data Connection.

How secure is RivaService?
We really care about security. RivaService entire application is SSL enabled to ensure that your transmissions are encrypted. Access to the application is strictly role based unlike most of the other field service software. Backups of your data are taken on a daily basis onto a remote location. The entire system is monitored and audited for any Fraud or Security issues on a regular basis.

What about our data, can we get a backup?
Your Account data belongs to you. You can log a support request for backup with Support Team and they will get you the relevant backup.

Can I get my data if I need to discontinue? What will you do with my Account Data?
You will get your entire Account information in case you choose to discontinue. As a policy we hold the deactivated Accounts Data for a month (in the backups). Deactivated Accounts are purged on a Monthly Maintenance as part of regular maintenance.
